Senses

Senses
Rockland, Maine

Oh these eyes what have you seen

Have you seen the sun touch the blossoms on the trees

And oh these eyes what have you seen

Have you seen the life fade from a person's being

And oh these hands, what have you touched

Have you touched the head of a new born that is sleeping

And oh these hands what have you felt

Have you felt the water of life slip through your feeling

Glacier National Park

And oh these feet where have you been

Have you felt the touch of the grass or the sand

And oh these feet where have you gone

Have you walked this earth or danced to a song

Playa Isla Blanca

Sad eyes what have you seen

Did you see the love of your life fade from your dreams

And oh these hands what you made

Have you created art or just another grave

And oh these feet what will you do

Will you bring new life or just another tune

'When you start using senses you've neglected, your reward is to see the world with completely fresh eyes.' - Barbara Sher
